The one thing that makes Obama the best Democratic candidate in the general election is that the Repubs were not prepared for his victory. Karl Rove and his gang of goons certainly have a wealth of smear ready for Clinton. And I’m not going to dismiss their ability to smear Obama, although they will have less material. Hillary is repulsive to many Repubs and Dems alike, and she is certainly a uniter, in much the same way as GW was a uniter of the Republican party.
If Hillary is the Dem nominee, then Dems will stay home and Repubs will swarm to the polls. If Obama wins, then the opposite will be true. There are still some intensely racist organizations that will violently oppose Obama, but they will just look stupid and cause even more reasonable people to support him.
And I watch the news, night after night, and not one news person, or one candidate, even mentions the death toll in Iraq. That is beyond sad.

I just found out what a car broker is, and it seems like I might could use one. At the first mention, I thought Anything Automotive was a rip-off. Why pay someone money just to find me a car?
But when I looked further, I got the scoop. A car broker will actually do all the cleaning and prep-work that an auto dealer would do – remove dents, repair chipping paint, detail the car, etc. They get it looking good and ready to sell. They also handle the transaction to remove the hassle and wierdness of meeting some anonymous person from Craigslist in a parking lot.
Other car broker services include finding a used car for you. They will inspect the car, handle the transaction and make it much less painful. At first I didn’t see the value, but now I’m sold. Besides, I don’t have the time to spend on the details, like car detailing – and the details can be worth hundreds.
